Works of... art (?)

Besides the blog posts on this website, I create other types of digital media, including music, videos, and, of course, software.

I’ll always find it weird to call myself an artist, even if there is no better term to generally describe a person who creates works of art, regardless of frequency or skill level. Complicating matters, what counts as art is extremely subjective. No matter what any single person might think about my works, I’ve decided that they were important enough to highlight on this website, despite fulfilling no functional purpose. According to many definitions of art, that’s enough for something to be considered art. Alas, I suppose I need to come to terms with the fact that I am an artist… occasionally.
